About the position

The Marketing Coordinator at The Otesaga Resort Hotel is responsible for leading marketing initiatives to enhance brand presence and engagement across various platforms. This role involves developing and executing marketing strategies, focusing on social media management, content creation, media planning, and graphic design. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving audience engagement and expanding the brand's reach.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok).
  • Create compelling content, including copy, graphics, photos, and videos to drive traffic and engagement.
  • Plan, schedule, and execute daily posts for various brands to engage the audience.
  • Monitor social media conversations, respond to comments and inquiries, and foster community engagement.
  • Strategize to grow followers and engagement on all platforms, focusing on organic and paid strategies.
  • Identify and assess opportunities for growing engagement on emerging platforms like TikTok.
  • Create visually appealing designs for digital marketing campaigns and internal marketing materials.
  • Work with email marketing vendor to develop content, including copy and graphics.
  • Create media plans, reserve ads, and manage placement in print and digital media.
  • Track and analyze digital performance metrics to optimize strategies and report on campaign performance.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, and graphic design.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
  • Experience with social media management platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
  • Basic understanding of SEO, SEM, and digital marketing analytics.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
