About the position

Heartland Hobby Wholesale is seeking a full-time Marketing Coordinator to provide marketing and administrative support. This role involves managing email marketing campaigns, supporting sales representatives, and performing general administrative tasks. The position is based in Lincoln, NE, and operates Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.

Responsibilities

• Create emails to send to customers to announce new products and updates using MailChimp
• Track vendor announcements and deadlines
• Update sales representatives on customer responsiveness to emails by tracking activity on MailChimp
• Communicate vendor marketing campaigns to the customer using MailChimp while meeting ordering deadlines
• Interact with customers over the phone regarding inventory, online issues, order status, and company policies
• Periodically make changes or updates to the website
• Create print advertising for trade shows including sales flyers and other visual marketing materials. No graphic design experience needed.
• Collaborate and assist sales representatives on marketing projects to ensure accuracy among the various projects
• Assist with administrative duties as needed including but not limited to data entry, taking sales orders over the phone, invoicing, filing, Amazon tracking and answering the phone

Requirements

• Self-motivated and independent
• Ability to multi-task
• High level attention to detail, organized, with strong communication skills
• 2+ years' experience in an office setting preferably in marketing or customer service
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience with JOOMLA is preferred, but not required
• Experience with AS400 or other green screen software is preferred, but not required
• Experience with MailChimp is preferred, but not required
