About the position

The Marketing Coordinator will support marketing efforts in the roofing industry by executing marketing campaigns, managing digital platforms, and creating content to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement. This role involves collaboration with sales and marketing teams to drive lead generation and business growth through various marketing activities, requiring creativity, strong organizational skills, and a passion for the roofing sector.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, print, and social media.
  • Coordinate content creation efforts, including blog posts, website updates, social media, and email newsletters, ensuring alignment with brand messaging.
  • Manage and update the company's website, ensuring it is optimized for SEO and user experience.
  • Support the planning and coordination of trade shows, community events, and industry-related networking opportunities.
  • Track and analyze marketing metrics such as web traffic, social media engagement, and campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist in managing social media accounts by posting relevant content, engaging with followers, and monitoring for brand mentions.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create and update marketing collateral such as brochures, flyers, and case studies to support sales efforts.
  • Coordinate the creation and distribution of email marketing campaigns, ensuring content is relevant, engaging, and timely.
  • Work with external vendors, such as designers and printers, to ensure the timely delivery of marketing materials.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities, providing insights to the marketing team to adjust strategies as needed.
  • Maintain a marketing calendar to ensure timely execution of campaigns, events, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Assist in managing the marketing budget, tracking expenditures, and ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials, communications, and touchpoints.
  • Support the marketing team in lead generation efforts by coordinating online and offline campaigns.
  • Assist in market research projects to identify new opportunities for business development and customer engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the construction or home improvement industry.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools, CRM platforms, and content management systems.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple marketing campaigns and deliverables simultaneously.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the roofing or construction industry is an asset but not required.
