About the position

The Marketing Coordinator at Rhythm City Casino is responsible for a diverse range of daily marketing activities that are essential for the promotion and successful execution of events and programs at the casino. This role involves planning and executing promotions and special events, coordinating contracts and riders for entertainment, and managing audio-visual needs for various entertainment offerings. The Marketing Coordinator will also handle media coordination and scheduling, social media planning and postings, and the scheduling and proofing of email, mail, and other marketing materials. Additionally, the coordinator will participate in public relations activities and assist in the purchasing of marketing supplies while tracking expenses and budgets to ensure financial accountability. In this position, exceptional customer service is paramount, as the coordinator will interact with both internal and external customers. The role includes coordinating the details of casino promotions, tournaments, and events, which involves creating timelines, writing rules, setting up kiosks, purchasing supplies, and communicating with all relevant departments. The Marketing Coordinator will assist the Marketing Manager and Director in planning monthly marketing programs, helping to create calendars and other materials necessary for successful implementation. Collaboration with other departments is crucial to plan and execute marketing activities effectively. The coordinator will also conduct casino promotions, tournaments, and events, ensuring that all aspects are well-organized and executed smoothly. This includes setting up shows for sale in the company ticketing system and coordinating the setup and teardown of events and promotional areas under the guidance of the Marketing Manager. Handling customer complaints and inquiries regarding promotions and events is also a key responsibility. The coordinator will research and document competitor promotions to stay informed about industry trends and assist in various tasks at the Resort Club, including VIP events and gift distribution promotions. Furthermore, the Marketing Coordinator will assist the Marketing and Entertainment teams in planning entertainment events, which includes proofing contracts, reviewing riders, and coordinating the necessary items for artists' performances, such as backline, sound, and lighting. The role requires working at entertainment events to ensure smooth execution and assisting with proofing design materials, websites, emails, and direct mail campaigns. Posting marketing information and calendars on promotions boards, changing out property signage, and managing digital signage are also part of the job. The coordinator will plan and schedule social media content according to approved standards and platforms, monitor online reputation, and respond to reviews in a timely manner. Close collaboration with the Marketing Director to create and maintain a project production schedule is essential, as is processing sponsorship and donation requests and participating in public relations activities. Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with a diverse staff and interfacing with advertising agencies to meet deadlines for advertisements in various media are also critical components of this role.
