The Marketing Coordinator will play a crucial role in shaping all of our agents' marketing and branding projects, from concepts and development through implementation and tracking. This position is vital as our agents are our brand, and their marketing success directly impacts the company's performance. The Marketing team provides essential account services and strategies to our agents, ensuring their marketing efforts are optimized for success. In this role, you will work collaboratively with a talented in-house marketing, agent experience, and creative team. You will engage with teammates who bring diverse experiences from various industries, enhancing the collaborative environment. Additionally, you will liaise with key external and partnered vendors to execute a wide range of initiatives, ensuring cohesion between the Compass brand and the marketing/advertising deliverables of our agents. Your responsibilities will include creating and managing systems that drive efficiencies across team communications and processes, providing outstanding client service, and monitoring the ongoing efforts of agents' marketing initiatives to analyze their effectiveness. You will also develop marketing plans that allow agents to maximize their budgets against tactics that yield the greatest return for their business. This includes activations across multiple channels such as branding, advertising in print, digital, social media, photography and video, direct mail, and more. Furthermore, you will assist in driving the adoption and usage of Compass's platform and product tools through internal marketing, communications, and training. This position requires a proactive approach to research and design regional social media assets and emails for Central MD agents, as well as collaborating with the Central MD leadership team to execute a weekly regional email newsletter to local agents.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage systems that drive efficiencies across team communications and processes
  • Provide outstanding client service to make agent marketing efforts less time consuming and more effective as their ‘accountability partner'
  • Work with the Compass's design team to coordinate the delivery of custom projects and all associated materials
  • Monitor the ongoing efforts of the agents' marketing initiatives and analyze the actual results from projects to determine their effectiveness
  • Develop marketing plans that allow agents to maximize the effectiveness of their budgets against tactics that will provide the greatest return for their business
  • Includes activations in multiple channels including branding, advertising in print, digital, social media, photography and video, direct mail, and more
  • Work with the agents to drive the adoption and usage of Compass's platform and product tools through internal marketing, communications, and trainings
  • Assist the Central MD's Senior Marketing Advisor with running and optimizing the @compassbaltimore Instagram account
  • Research and design regional social media assets and emails for Central MD agents to utilize and promote
  • Collaborate with the Central MD leadership team to create and execute a weekly regional email newsletter to local agents

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of marketing experience
  • Skilled communicator with great interpersonal skills and ability to build and manage relationships
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Savvy with digital marketing like social media and Instagram specifically
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop (not required, but helpful)
  • Adept project manager; impeccable time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience working in a client or account service environment a big plus
  • Experience working in real estate marketing, and/or at a luxury brand a big plus
  • Proficient in the suite of office tools from Apple, Google and Microsoft
