About the position

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all marketing activities and initiatives for a branded consumer product company. This role involves collaboration with the design team for content creation, planning and executing advertising and promotional campaigns, and enhancing client sales through marketing materials. The coordinator will also lead ambassador programs and support the evaluation of current market trends.

Responsibilities

  • Develops strategic marketing initiatives and activities.
  • Creates branded advertising campaigns and supports the sales and design teams by coordinating and collating content.
  • Sets up tracking systems for marketing campaigns and online activities.
  • Traffics all advertising efforts to appropriate channels.
  • Develops and manages all internal communication systems.
  • Organizes and streamlines service offerings into user-friendly concepts.
  • Manages print contractors and other promotional vendors.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Simplifies complex data into a user-friendly format such as graphs, charts and other visual aids for clients and management.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing/communications or related (preferred).
  • Two years of experience in content management, creative writing, advertising concepts and media negotiations.
  • Event planning and trade show experience.
  • Understanding the difference between digital and traditional marketing.
  • Experience with ERPs and organizing reports.
  • HubSpot experience a plus.
  • Digital/computer skills required: HubSpot CRM, Slack, WhatsApp, Project Management Software (Asana), Spreadsheet Software (Excel, Google Sheets).
  • Critical thinker with strong problem-solving and research proficiencies.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret competitor strategies and consumer behavior.
  • Ability to gather large amounts of data and convert it into meaningful analysis.
  • Solid organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Creative mind with superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex information into a user-friendly format.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in marketing for consumer products.
  • Familiarity with online sales and marketing merchandising materials.
