About the position

As a Marketing Coordinator at The Austin Company, you will be responsible for the coordination and support of marketing- and sales-focused initiatives. This includes qualifications, proposals, project profiles, direct mailings, tradeshow support, presentations, market-specific collateral, project photography and videography, headshots, and updating the client database and digital asset management system. You will collaborate with other Marketing and Communications (MarCom) team members on projects such as advertising, special events, and updating digital platforms like websites and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support marketing and sales initiatives
  • Manage qualifications, proposals, and project profiles
  • Assist with direct mailings and tradeshow support
  • Create and update presentations and market-specific collateral
  • Oversee project photography and videography
  • Update client database and digital asset management system
  • Collaborate with MarCom team on advertising and special events
  • Update digital platforms including websites and SharePoint

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing/communications or related field
  • Two to five years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign and other Adobe Creative Suite products
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Organized and self-motivated with ability to prioritize projects
  • Ability to perform market research
  • Ability to simplify complex information into a user-friendly format
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team

Nice-to-haves

  • Marketing experience in architecture, engineering, or construction industries
  • Strategic thinker
  • Knowledge of business, CRM, digital, and graphic design software
  • Understanding of SOQ/proposal production, including digital and printing/binding
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Well-developed graphic eye
