About the position

The Northeast Bank Marketing Team is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator to assist in executing our 'go to market' strategies and communication efforts. This role is pivotal in supporting the Marketing Department with various advertising and communications initiatives, including marketing campaign support, internal communications, graphic design services, department reporting, and event logistical support. The Marketing Coordinator will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally across the organization, contributing to projects that align with our key operational goals and overall strategic plan. In this position, the Marketing Coordinator will coordinate support for cross-functional marketing projects aimed at enhancing the Bank's local and national sales efforts. This includes assisting the sales team, managing marketing tasks, creating marketing campaign assets using defined graphic design templates, and providing logistical support for company-wide marketing events such as conferences, employee appreciation events, and community events. The role also involves collaborating with third-party partners, including marketing agencies and technology providers, to execute new marketing initiatives while adhering to budgets and predetermined goals. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for tracking and maintaining inventory of marketing materials, managing incoming marketing requests through an online tracking system, and serving as the main point of contact for the sales team regarding marketing support. Additionally, the role requires drafting internal communications, conducting market research to identify target audiences, and ensuring that all marketing materials align with the bank's brand guidelines and comply with banking regulations. The successful candidate will also compile and analyze data related to marketing efforts to measure their impact and results, utilizing tools such as Google Analytics and AdWords.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate support of cross-functional marketing projects for the Bank's local and national sales efforts, including sales team assistance, marketing task management, department reporting and creation of marketing campaign assets - using defined graphic design templates.
  • Provide logistical and planning support for all company-wide marketing events, including conferences, internal employee appreciation events, customer appreciation events, community events and more.
  • Work closely with third-party partners - including marketing agencies, technology providers, photographers, etc. - to execute new marketing initiatives and approved projects while adhering to budgets and predetermined goals.
  • Coordinate proactive support of the bank's retail banking, government banking and national lending sales platforms, including timely management of ad hoc requests, delivery and pick up of marketing items and overall support of the sales team.
  • Track and maintain inventory of marketing materials located on-site and online.
  • Intake, manage and traffic all incoming marketing requests using online tracking system.
  • Serve as main point of contact for company-wide sales team outreach regarding requested marketing items and support.
  • Draft and send internal communications emails as necessary.
  • Complete regular reviews of the Bank's digital channels, website and printed collateral to ensure optimal user functionality and information accuracy.
  • Ensure Marketing Department Intranet presence is up-to-date and effectively supports internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research to identify target audiences, assess market trends, and gather competitive intelligence.
  • Ensure marketing materials align with the bank's brand guidelines and enhance brand awareness.
  • Ensure all marketing activities comply with banking regulations and industry standards, including coordination of compliance approval for all marketing assets via online system (Kadince).
  • Compile, analyze, and interpret data surrounding our various marketing efforts and initiatives to measure their impact and results (including Google Analytics / AdWords, etc.).
  • Successfully pass technical and regulatory examinations required by the Company.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in marketing-related positions.
  • Bachelor's Degree with a strong track record of performance, preferably in Communications, Marketing, or Advertising.
  • Strong attention to detail and impeccable organizational skills.
  • Teamwork oriented with a desire to learn and improve.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Outgoing, charismatic, and comfortable engaging in all types of environments through all mediums (phone, in-person, via email).
  • Ability to work independently (i.e. ‘self-starter'), and to be creative and intuitive, all while exercising sound judgment.
  • Experience with CRM (Salesforce), Email Automation (Account Engagement), and Website Content Management Systems (Drupal) preferred.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite of products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with the Adobe Creative Cloud products preferred, specifically: Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
