In this role, the Marketing Copywriter II will be tasked with translating complex messages into engaging and relatable copy that drives audience engagement and motivates action. This includes creating clear and concise content for a variety of marketing materials such as internal and external advertising, promotional campaigns, newsletters, emails, brochures, and digital content. The copywriter will also be responsible for making revisions and updates to existing copy, ensuring that all content is accurate, timely, and aligned with the JCCC brand voice. Additionally, the position involves providing mentorship and guidance to interns and junior copywriters, fostering a collaborative environment within the department. The copywriter will conduct research on assigned topics to inform their writing and provide strategic recommendations based on their findings. They will work closely with colleagues and stakeholders across departments to ensure that the resulting copy meets expectations and effectively addresses marketing requests. The Marketing Copywriter II will also be expected to stay current with marketing and communication trends, adapting to the evolving digital landscape and implementing best practices in their work. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in marketing copywriting.
  • Highly skilled and proficient in copywriting and marketing communications.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
