About the position

MediVera Compounding Pharmacy™ is seeking a talented and experienced Marketing Copywriter to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for crafting compelling and compliant content for our website and marketing materials. As a Marketing Copywriter, you will be responsible for developing high-quality content that aligns with our brand voice and marketing strategy. You will collaborate closely with our pharmacists and external marketing partners to ensure content accuracy and compliance. This position offers the opportunity to manage multiple projects and deadlines while bringing your creative ideas to life. In this role, you will develop and write engaging, well-researched content for our website, blog posts, and other marketing materials. You will work with the marketing team to execute content strategies that align with business goals and target audience needs. Additionally, you will coordinate with our marketing partner on content strategy and site map, ensuring all content is reviewed and approved by pharmacists before publication. Your responsibilities will also include conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, managing the backlog of content, and editing and proofreading to ensure clarity and adherence to brand guidelines. You will be expected to monitor and analyze content performance metrics to refine and improve content strategies, ideate and develop content that drives patient acquisition and enhances the reputation of MediVera Compounding Pharmacy. This role requires a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in copywriting, preferably within the healthcare or medical industry, and a degree in writing or marketing. Responsibilities

  • Develop and write engaging, well-researched content for our website, blog posts, and other marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute content strategies that align with business goals and target audience needs.
  • Work closely with pharmacists to understand what content is appropriate and compliant for publication.
  • Coordinate with marketing partner on content strategy and site map.
  • Ensure all content is reviewed and approved by pharmacists before publication.
  • Maintain consistency and accuracy in messaging, displaying positive team spirit.
  • Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to ensure content is accurate, relevant, and up-to-date.
  • Manage the backlog of content, aiming to edit and help create 50-100 pages of website content in tandem with the agency partner by the end of the year.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure high clarity and adherence to both brand guidelines and PCAB compliance requirements for clarity of language.
  • Take a pharmacy language compliance course through PCCA to learn the nuances of pharmaceutical content, embracing a growth mindset.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to refine and improve content strategies.
  • Ideate, research, pitch, develop, and write content that drives patient acquisition, staff recruitment, and enhances the reputation of MediVera Compounding Pharmacy.
  • Work effectively with designers to deliver strong, idea-driven work.
  • Translate complex medical and pharmaceutical concepts into compelling, human stories.
  • Produce high-value assets in support of departmental and organizational strategic priorities and goals.
  • Establish and maintain positive, effective relationships with team members, marketing colleagues, and external partners.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in copywriting, preferably within the healthcare or medical industry.
  • Degree in writing (English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field) or Marketing.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a strong portfolio of work.
  • Must show examples of writing for marketing collateral, website pages, blog articles, email newsletters, and social media posts.
  • Ability to translate complex medical information into clear, engaging content.
  • Experience in the healthcare or medical industry is preferred.
  • Understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
  • Experience writing for organic and paid search campaigns utilizing a predefined keyword strategy supplied by the agency partner.
  • Familiarity with content management systems and basic SEO principles.
  • Strong research skills to ensure content is accurate, relevant, and updated.
  • Project management abilities to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Familiarity with Asana, project management software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and external partners.
  • Detail-oriented and adaptable, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
