About the position

The Marketing Copywriter at Cedars-Sinai is responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and writing compelling copy that supports the hospital's consumer and business-facing initiatives. This role involves collaborating with various internal and external partners to create content that drives patient acquisition and enhances the hospital's reputation. The ideal candidate will possess strong writing skills, a keen understanding of marketing strategies, and the ability to translate complex biomedical concepts into engaging narratives.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, develop, and write compelling copy for various marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal partners in Marketing and Communications and Web Strategy.
  • Work closely with art directors and designers to deliver idea-driven work.
  • Translate complex biomedical concepts into compelling, human stories.
  • Produce high-value assets that align with departmental and organizational goals.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with team members and external partners.
  • Interact professionally with physicians, patients, and others while protecting patient privacy.
  • Familiarize with content strategy and collaborate with strategists.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, English, journalism, or a relevant major.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience writing and developing impactful content and campaigns, preferably with agency experience.
