About the position

The Marketing Copywriter at Huyett is responsible for creating and optimizing written content to enhance the company's E-Commerce presence. This role involves collaborating with various departments to maintain a consistent brand voice and improve customer experience through effective communication and research. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, creative, and proactive in their approach to marketing content.

Responsibilities

  • Perform product-related research to learn industry and market trends, applying the knowledge to marketing content.
  • Create, share, and publish written content across digital channels to promote products and attract new customers.
  • Edit written content produced by yourself or others, ensuring errors are eliminated.
  • Consistently meet deadlines with quality work and correct application of SEO/CRO principles.
  • Proactively communicate design needs to the graphic design team to support content initiatives.
  • Review and interpret campaign results, identify problems, and share analysis with key stakeholders or leadership to drive continuous improvement.
  • Learn and apply principles that optimize the overall customer experience, such as developing content optimized for mobile-device users.
  • Own the content calendar for Huyett.com and draft copy for blog pages, product pages, and landing page content.

Requirements

  • Excellent written communication and English comprehension skills required.
  • Stellar research skills and ability to summarize/present analysis required.
  • Previous content production experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) and/or Search Engine Marketing (SEM) software preferred.
  • Knowledge of Google tools: Analytics, Search Console, and Tag Manager preferred.
  • Prior Business-to-Business E-Commerce experience desired.
  • Education in Marketing, English, Communications, or other relevant field desired.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to read, write & understand complicated product technical documentation & standard operating procedures with attention to high-level concepts.
