About the position

As a Marketing Copywriter & Social Media Manager at our rapidly growing company, you will play a crucial role in shaping our brand's narrative and engaging with our audience across various digital platforms. We are looking for a talented wordsmith who can create compelling marketing content and manage effective social media campaigns. Your primary focus will be on developing persuasive copy for a variety of marketing materials, including websites, landing pages, emails, ads, brochures, and videos. You will collaborate closely with our marketing and sales teams to brainstorm and execute campaigns that resonate with our target audience and align with our brand voice and objectives. In addition to copywriting, you will be responsible for managing and executing our social media strategies across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), and LinkedIn. This includes creating and curating engaging content, monitoring social media trends, and analyzing campaign performance metrics to optimize our efforts. You will also engage with our online community, responding to comments and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Your ability to analyze data and generate insights will be key to driving continuous improvement in our marketing initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging and persuasive copy for marketing materials including websites, landing pages, emails, ads, brochures, videos, and retail packaging.
  • Collaborate with the marketing & sales teams to create compelling campaigns that resonate with our target audience and align with our brand voice.
  • Manage and execute social media strategies across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), and LinkedIn.
  • Create and curate content for social media channels, including posts, stories, videos, and graphics.
  • Monitor social media trends, audience behaviors, and competitor activities to optimize campaign performance.
  • Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Analyze campaign metrics and performance data to generate insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Copywriter in a marketing or advertising agency, with a strong portfolio showcasing creative campaigns.
  • Demonstrated expertise in crafting compelling copy that drives engagement and conversion.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and platforms (e.g., Canva).
  • Hands-on experience in developing and executing social media strategies, including content creation and community management.
  • Excellent communication skills with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment while also working independently to meet deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
