The rapid growth of our firm brings an opportunity to join one of Northwestern Mutual's premier offices as a Marketing Creative and Coordinator. The Marketing Creative & Coordinator will help manage the day-to-day strategic marketing initiatives of the local Network Office and select financial advisors/teams within the Northwestern Mutual Twin Cities territory. This individual will support Marketing Leadership in the development and execution of all firm-wide internal and external marketing initiatives and support select financial advisors/teams. The role is crucial in driving candidate recruitment, enhancing financial advisor productivity, and increasing revenue while growing our market presence through the implementation of marketing strategies, tactics, and Northwestern Mutual brand expansion efforts. This position will implement the creative design and execution of digital assets for the local office and select financial advisors. Examples include website updates, social media content development and posting, and print and digital collateral design. Responsibilities

  • Lead tactical execution of Network Office Marketing Plan
  • Operate within the guidelines of the Marketing Budget
  • Assist with planning small to large scale marketing events: internal culture-building and external (client/prospect-facing)
  • Execute procedural tracking and measurement of the marketing program's impact and overall ROI
  • Assist with promoting and building the Northwestern Mutual brand locally to enhance awareness and receptivity within multicultural and diverse affinity markets
  • Help manage the day-to-day strategic marketing initiatives of the Network Office (NO) and select financial advisors/teams
  • Implement the creative design and execution of digital and print assets for the Network Office and select financial advisors
  • Present marketing education and training for financial advisors
  • Assist in the implementation of marketing tactics geared towards financial advisor recruitment
  • Assist with local public relations, advertising and philanthropic efforts

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising or communications
  • 3-5+ years marketing experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly detailed and organized with the ability to prioritize multiple projects
  • Creative thinker, with strong project management and collaboration skills
  • Creative design experience and high proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Adobe suite (Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop), Canva, and social media technologies (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter)
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels; maintain confidentiality
  • Occasional night/weekend projects as determined by event schedule
