About the position

The Marketing Data Coordinator plays a critical role in the efficiency and quality of PAE's marketing efforts. This position is essential for ensuring that the marketing database is maintained accurately and that data is collected and reported effectively. The coordinator will be responsible for thorough and resourceful data collection, updating or adding data with attention to detail, and exporting quality data for reports and marketing deliverables. In this role, the Marketing Data Coordinator will maintain marketing database content in Deltek Vantagepoint, assist the Communications team with updates to email campaign recipient lists, and support quality control efforts of marketing data within Deltek and OpenAsset. The coordinator will mine data from media and internal sources, identify potential system improvements to enhance reporting and marketing processes, and run reports from Deltek while assisting with the analysis of the resultant information. Additionally, the coordinator will support the maintenance of Marketing Power BI Dashboards, add new OpenAsset records, and improve OpenAsset usability through effective keywords and tagging. The position also involves building basic qualifications and presentations, supporting internal training on marketing data processes and best practices, and identifying and carrying out special projects as needed. This hybrid position is located in Los Angeles, California, and requires a detail-oriented individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while working collaboratively with others.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain marketing database content in Deltek Vantagepoint
  • Assist the Communications team with updates to email campaign recipient lists
  • Support quality control efforts of marketing data within Deltek and OpenAsset
  • Mine data from media and internal sources and add to database systems
  • Identify potential system improvements to the database to create better reporting and marketing processes
  • Run reports from Deltek and assist with analyzing resultant information
  • Support the maintenance of Marketing Power BI Dashboards
  • Add new OpenAsset Records and import content into OpenAsset
  • Improve OpenAsset usability through keywords and tagging
  • Build basic qualifications and presentations
  • Support internal training on marketing data processes and best practices
  • Identify and carry out special projects as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or equivalent
  • 2-4 years of experience in a relevant position
  • Experience with databases (Deltek preferred) and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with digital asset management systems preferred (ideally OpenAsset)
  • Detail oriented
  • Analytical thinking skills
  • Ability to work with numbers and database systems successfully
  • Resourceful
  • Comfortable working with others in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfort with technical language and information
