About the position

The Marketing Data Privacy Manager at Clorox will oversee and manage end-to-end data privacy operations within the marketing function. This role is crucial for mitigating consumer and data risks, ensuring compliance with privacy protocols, and optimizing processes related to data privacy management, particularly using OneTrust. The manager will collaborate with various internal teams and external vendors to ensure that all marketing programs adhere to Clorox's consumer privacy standards.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage end-to-end Data Privacy operations for the Marketing function.
  • Act as the Marketing Owner & SME of OneTrust DSAR Modules and Workflows.
  • Review compliance of the Known Consumer ecosystem in partnership with internal and external partners.
  • Deliver Known Consumer data to partners while ensuring compliance with IT security/privacy and legal standards.
  • Lead all privacy compliance initiatives for existing and new privacy requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for privacy compliance improvements and streamline efficiencies.
  • Ensure appropriate contracts and terms are in place for external vendors.
  • Report on compliance statistics and escalate risks or opportunities to leadership.
  • Collaborate with Analytics and external vendors to optimize reporting processes.
  • Project manage day-to-day requests and integrate new privacy projects across Marketing teams.
  • Manage user access in the KCD Ecosystem and conduct quarterly audits.
  • Establish and maintain data purge schedules for internal and external data users.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in Data Privacy, Data Governance/compliance, Marketing, or Project Management, preferably in CPG or digital media.
  • Experience with CPRA, CCPA, or GDPR compliance.
  • Familiarity with Data Privacy Management Platforms like OneTrust.
  • Proficiency in workflow management tools like JIRA.
  • Experience with data lakes, data warehouses, SQL, or Python.
  • Knowledge of CRM management systems.
