The Marketing Database Analyst at Arizona Public Service (APS) plays a crucial role in shaping marketing strategies for various programs and products. This position involves collaborating with program and segment managers to develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns, utilizing strong analytical skills to drive measurable results and enhance campaign effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement direct marketing contact strategies, establishing guidelines on contact frequency, control groups, and contact mix.
• Create lead lists for direct marketing initiatives, ensuring effective targeting and allocation across various programs.
• Set up and maintain marketing performance tracking and reporting standards, serving as the go-to resource for campaign performance analysis.
• Design and conduct market tests to evaluate the success of marketing initiatives, ensuring actionable performance results.
• Conduct statistical analyses and use predictive modeling tools to enhance campaign effectiveness and improve response rates.

Requirements

• Degree in Business, Marketing, or Statistics with a minimum of 5 years of experience in campaign target marketing, planning, design, testing, execution, management, and tracking.
• Experience with marketing, campaign tracking, statistical modeling, and analytical reporting tools such as Unica Campaign, SPSS Modeler, COGNOS, or similar software.
• Strong strategic thinking skills with effective interpersonal, communication, presentation, and writing skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in energy sector marketing or utilities marketing.
• Familiarity with customer segmentation and targeting strategies.
