About the position

The Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship is seeking a Marketing Database Analyst who is energetic, creative, and proactive. This role is crucial for improving the use of analytics in marketing and member engagement. The Marketing Database Analyst will manage the administration of the Center's database platforms, ensuring accuracy and enhancing business processes. The successful candidate will oversee the implementation of new systems and provide insights through statistical analysis and reporting to improve overall decision-making. In this position, the analyst will be responsible for managing and analyzing the Center's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, along with its suite of marketing platforms. This includes ensuring system integrity, security, and ongoing improvement. The analyst will identify areas for integration and execute strategies to collect and connect meaningful metrics that will inform future decision-making. Regular in-depth analysis using statistical processes will be conducted to identify trends and inform future strategies. Additionally, the analyst will enable the Center to effectively reach its audiences by creating segmented lists and reports.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the administration of the Center's database platforms to ensure accuracy and strengthen business processes.
  • Oversee the implementation of new systems and ensure they contribute to the Center's overall goals.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis using statistical processes to identify trends and inform future strategy.
  • Create segmented lists and reports to enable effective audience engagement.
  • Manage and analyze the Center's CRM system and marketing platforms to ensure system integrity and security.
  • Identify areas of integration and execute strategies to collect and connect meaningful metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3+ years of professional database management experience.
  • Training in HTML and CMS systems.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflows.
  • Ability to conduct analysis on large data sets using statistical processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially advanced MS Excel.
  • Experience with CRM systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Familiarity with system integration software, preferably Scribe.
  • Experience with email marketing systems, preferably ClickDimensions.
  • Some programming experience is a plus.
  • Ability to create, track, and optimize campaigns in CRM, Google Adwords/Analytics, and email marketing systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
