About the position

The Marketing & Design Associate at Cornerstone Companies, Inc. will support the Director of Marketing in executing marketing initiatives across various service lines. This role requires a creative individual with a diverse skill set in branding, graphic design, digital marketing, and event planning, aimed at enhancing the company's brand presence and supporting business development efforts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the creation of business development tools such as proposals, presentations, graphics, and case studies.
• Create visually appealing graphic design assets for various marketing materials (print and digital).
• Ensure company brand guidelines are being adhered to.
• Create relevant content and graphics for social media (LinkedIn/Facebook) and maintain social media calendar.
• Help Director of Marketing plan and coordinate in-house, sponsorship, and client events.
• Communicate with team members to create, adjust layout and distribute monthly internal company newsletter email.
• Communicate an internal employee text bi-weekly.
• Proficiency in software tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Microsoft (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Mailchimp, Canva.
• Support administrative updates to corporate website content (team pages/job postings).
• Coordinate photographer and photos (employee headshots and property photography at projects).
• Work with vendors to order new employee business cards, corporate stationary, marketing collateral, company branded apparel and promo items.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field experience preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of marketing experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop).
• Proficiency in Microsoft (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience with WordPress.
• Experience with Email Marketing Platform (Mailchimp).
• Experience with Social Media (LinkedIn & Facebook).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in event planning support.
• Knowledge of digital marketing strategies.
