About the position

The Marketing and Digital Communications Specialist at Huntsman Corporation will play a crucial role in managing both internal and external communications for the Performance Products Division. This position involves planning, developing, and executing various marketing initiatives, including product promotions, social media campaigns, and digital content management. The specialist will ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all platforms and materials, while also coordinating events and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance the company's communication efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate content development, design, production, and distribution of marketing and communications materials.
  • Ensure consistency of new content with external website and marketing collateral.
  • Develop a schedule for reviewing and updating outdated marketing materials.
  • Design social media campaigns to promote products and events.
  • Coordinate translation of marketing materials for international use.
  • Manage event participation and attend as needed in the Americas region.
  • Maintain a SharePoint catalogue and image library of marketing materials.
  • Write content for global newsletters and internal articles.
  • Coordinate photo and video shoots with vendors and Corporate Communications team.
  • Uphold brand and trademark standards in all projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, English, journalism, public relations or related field.
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience in corporate communications and marketing, preferably in the chemical, manufacturing, or oil & gas industries.
  • Familiarity with B2B marketing and sales activities for chemicals or manufacturing.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to multitask and communicate timelines effectively to stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and strong project management skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Photoshop.
  • Knowledge of Associated Press style for writing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite, SharePoint, and Teams.
