About the position

As the Marketing Digital Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital marketing landscape for one of the most exciting home decor companies. This position requires a strategic thinker who can direct the company’s e-commerce strategies across various social channels and platforms. You will be responsible for creating compelling content that raises brand awareness and optimizes traffic to our digital platforms. With full ownership of digital media, you will ensure that all marketing efforts align with the company's goals and resonate with our target audience. Your responsibilities will include developing and identifying innovative digital brand marketing strategies that not only attract new customers but also retain existing ones. You will review and approve all social media copy and content, ensuring that it drives traffic effectively. Budgeting and quantifying ROI will be crucial aspects of your role, as you will manage marketplace strategies, forecasts, and results, focusing on both short and long-term objectives. You will also be tasked with developing comprehensive reports and reporting formats to track performance metrics. In this role, you will manage relationships with digital agencies and external third parties, ensuring that all marketing channels are optimized for maximum performance. You will work at both strategic and tactical levels, drilling down into marketing channels and site performance metrics to explain variances in business outcomes. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that marketplace copy and data are fully optimized to maximize traffic from search engines. Additionally, you will support the development of strategic briefs for regional or channel-led initiatives, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to execute seasonal strategies that adhere to brand guidelines. You will also drive seasonal partnerships with functional teams to deliver clear insights for future planning and develop an integrated digital marketing calendar.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and identify digital brand marketing strategies.

  • Oversee all analytics surrounding online marketing programs including paid media, social, and emails.
  • Support strategic brief development for regional or channel-lead initiatives, with precise channel inputs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seasonal strategies are executed according to brand guidelines.
  • Drive seasonal partnerships with functional teams to deliver insights for future planning and develop an integrated digital marketing calendar.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business and/or Marketing.
  • Minimum of 10 plus years of relevant marketing experience in a fast-paced environment, and product-oriented experience in Home Decor.
