About the position

Vantive is a new company emerging from Baxter's legacy, focusing on providing best-in-class care in the kidney care segment. As part of this transition, the Marketing Director for Chronic Therapies - Kidney Care will play a pivotal role in establishing and directing the marketing strategy for our Chronic products and services. This position is crucial as Vantive aims to build on its nearly 70-year legacy in acute therapies and dialysis, with a commitment to improving patients' lives worldwide. The Marketing Director will join a high-performing team responsible for managing a portfolio that delivers over $1 billion in business. In this role, the Marketing Director will partner with various internal teams, including ISC, Finance, Clinical, Market Access, Regulatory, and Global Marketing, to ensure the successful day-to-day operations of the business. The responsibilities include owning US product launch plans, developing go-to-market strategies, and serving as the primary contact for all Automated PD cycler platforms. The director will assess market needs, develop marketing strategies and materials, and support market initiatives to ensure successful commercial launches. Additionally, the Marketing Director will be responsible for financial forecasting, product allocation, and identifying budget requirements to ensure proper execution. They will lead market research and analyses of market trends to inform the go-to-market strategy, develop marketing collateral and training materials, and manage all facets of ongoing product operationalization, including inventory management and regulatory compliance. The role also involves creating strategies and promotional materials for healthcare professionals and patients, building business models for forecasting, and interfacing with global corporate executives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate high-caliber project management skills, drive progress towards launch dates, and develop marketing plans for Emerging Therapies products and services. They will act as a thought leader, reviewing and executing commercial opportunities that align with the business's growth objectives. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong planning skills, excellent communication abilities, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a customer-focused approach. Overall, the Marketing Director will be instrumental in driving Vantive's mission to revolutionize kidney care and support the company's growth in the healthcare market.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with ISC, Finance, Clinical, Market Access, Regulatory and Global Marketing teams to ensure successful day to day operations of business
  • Own US product launch plans including go-to-market strategies
  • Serve as the US organizational contact for all Automated PD cycler platforms, assessing market needs / barriers, developing marketing strategy and materials, supporting market initiatives, and ensuring successful commercial launches
  • Deliver financial forecasting, product allocation and identify budget requirements to ensure proper execution
  • Lead/support market research and analyses of market trends to inform go-to-market strategy
  • Lead the development of marketing collateral and training materials to assist with launch, growth, and product maintenance phases
  • Manage all facets of the on-going operationalization of the product, including inventory management, profitability, quality issues, and regulatory compliance
  • Create strategy, training, and promotional pieces related to the portfolio for healthcare professionals and patients
  • Build fundamental business models that will be used for business forecasting and alignment with capacity planning and long-range plans, partnering with critical stakeholders
  • Interface with global corporate executives such as the Global and Regional management team
  • Demonstrate high caliber project management skills - Supporting the launch of a major advancement and driving high visibility projects through multiple stage gates - early high focus on market research
  • Relentlessly drive progress towards Launch dates, bringing together multiple workstreams to a single launch point
  • Develop marketing plans, training, and promotional pieces for Emerging Therapies products and Services - including value propositions and claims that optimizes the product portfolio offering to improve profitability & sustainability
  • Develop foundational tools and materials to support consistent, aligned, and on-brand promotion, marketing plans, training, and promotional pieces
  • Serve as business and marketing resource for leadership, sales, finance and other stakeholders
  • Understand strategic vision across multiple business to knit together therapy growth objectives
  • Provide cross stakeholder marketing support to drive business growth in the US by delivering specific goal-oriented launch stage gates to successful completion
  • Developing consistent messaging and reporting metrics around these initiatives
  • Collaborating with sales, clinical education, finance, supply chain, marketing and other stakeholders
  • Partnering closely with global Marketing and Medical teams
  • Act as thought leader to review, examine and execute all commercial and therapy opportunities that are accretive to the business and within the business bandwidth to deliver results

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree required
  • 10+ years Marketing experience required - including successful launch experiences
  • 3+ years demonstrated marketing experience within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, medication device, and/or life science industries preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze and find creative, innovative solutions to business challenges
  • Digital literacy including Microsoft Office Suite and SalesForce.com

  • Experience in managing high profile customer relationships, including Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
  • Clinical background incorporating Education, dialysis and/or Acute care
