The Avenue at Medina is seeking a Marketing Director/Community Liaison who will play a crucial role in enhancing our facility's visibility and fostering relationships within the community. This position is essential for driving census growth through effective external marketing strategies and internal customer relationship development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting our unique offerings, which include a hotel-like environment and all-private suites, ensuring that potential residents and their families are aware of the exceptional care and services we provide. The Marketing Director will work closely with the management team to develop and implement marketing plans that align with our mission of delivering high-quality rehabilitation and skilled nursing care. This role requires a proactive approach to building relationships with local healthcare providers, community organizations, and potential referral sources to increase awareness of our facility and its services. In addition to external marketing efforts, the Marketing Director will also focus on internal customer relationship development. This involves engaging with current residents and their families to ensure satisfaction with our services and to gather feedback that can be used to improve our offerings. The successful candidate will be a cheerful and friendly individual, capable of representing the Avenue at Medina with professionalism and warmth. This position is not only about promoting our facility but also about creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages community involvement and support for our residents. The Marketing Director will be expected to participate in community events, represent the facility at health fairs, and engage in networking opportunities to build a strong presence in the Medina area.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing or community relations, preferably in healthcare.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with residents, families, and community partners.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve marketing goals.
