About the position

The Marketing Director for Home Health Care at Visiting Angels is responsible for coordinating the overall development and marketing management of the agency, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and maximizing resource utilization. This role is pivotal in upholding the agency's standards as a high-quality provider, which includes the consistent delivery of exceptional customer service and high-quality care. The Marketing Director will provide timely and effective feedback to senior management, ensuring that regulatory standards and compliance are met at all times. In this position, the Marketing Director will manage expenditures and the annual marketing budget, providing clear direction to staff through general meetings that outline expectations and accountabilities. Building and maintaining relationships with vendors and the business community is essential, as is engaging in constructive problem-solving and exploring new ideas. The Marketing Director will support organizational change and communicate positively about it to employees, preparing managerial reports according to required timelines. The role requires a strong ability to prioritize tasks effectively, shifting priorities as needed to accommodate changes and demands. The Marketing Director will make timely, well-informed decisions by examining all relevant facts, exploring alternatives, and committing to action that aligns with organizational goals. Confidentiality is paramount, as the director will handle sensitive information pertaining to employees, clients, and their families. Additionally, the Marketing Director will respond to on-call demands during evenings and weekends, maintaining current on-call materials and managing calls according to company policies. Regular attendance and the performance of duties as deemed appropriate by the management team are also required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the overall development and marketing management of the Agency consistent with corporate objectives.
  • Ensure the Agency upholds the standards of a high-quality provider through consistent delivery of high-quality care and exceptional customer service.
  • Provide timely and effective feedback to senior management.
  • Ensure regulatory standards and compliance are met.
  • Manage expenditures and the annual marketing budget.
  • Provide staff direction through general meetings, outlining clear expectations and accountabilities.
  • Develop relationships with vendors and the business community.
  • Engage in constructive problem-solving and exploration of new ideas.
  • Support change and speak positively about it with employees.
  • Prepare managerial reports according to required timelines.
  • Understand the importance of each task and prioritize the workload, shifting priorities to accommodate change and demand.
  • Make timely, well-informed and appropriate decisions by examining all relevant and available facts; explore alternatives and commit to action.
  • Work toward high-quality decisions that achieve organizational goals.
  • Maintain absolute confidentiality of all information pertaining to employees, clients, and clients' families.
  • Respond to on-call evening and weekend demands, as directed.
  • Maintain on-call materials current with client information, instructions and directions, current roster of care and list of active direct care staff.
  • Prepare and maintain the on-call log and client and employee records.
  • Manage calls according to company policies.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Perform duties deemed appropriate by the management team.

Requirements

  • Valid RN License is required.
  • Experience in supervising is required.
  • Master's degree is preferred.
