First American will always strive to be a great place to work, for all. As the Marketing Director, you will develop long-range departmental planning and provide input to strategic planning. You will develop talent, processes, and routines to set up marketing as a strong growth channel for multiple lines of business. Your role will involve efficiently and effectively leading a team to execute breakthrough marketing and integrated campaigns across channels that are on brand and on strategy, including email/direct mail, SEO, social, print, and video. You will also develop and manage a scalable growth strategy based on competitive intelligence, market insights, and business objectives while evaluating other distribution channels for existing and new products. In this position, you will define, measure, and report on the performance of all organic and paid marketing channels/campaigns, assessing against ROI and KPI goals including customer acquisition and retention. You will create a content strategy that supports business objectives with a focus across the buyer's journey, which will include the development of channel-specific goals, optimizing websites, creating/managing budgets, and creating detailed reporting regularly. You will own and efficiently scale marketing spend, allocating investment appropriately and optimizing a blend of channels to hit growth targets efficiently, while still thinking long-term. Additionally, you will manage customer segmentation strategy, ensuring we reach the right audience with the right message, place, and time. Your role will also involve maturing the analytics function to include AB testing programs that support a continual test and learn mindset. You will partner with key stakeholders in engineering, sales, product, and service to improve the customer experience and present a cohesive, memorable brand. You will make compelling business cases to expand marketing spend based on intelligent risk-taking and develop and present performance summaries for leadership, identifying key areas of opportunity and risk.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of marketing experience.
  • 5-8+ years' experience in a people manager role.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher, with a focus in marketing.
  • 5+ years of experience in demand generation, specifically within DTC companies; B2B experience a plus.
  • Experience owning business outcomes for marketing, and demonstrated success in driving initiatives to meet and surpass goals and objectives.
  • Adaptability and comfort working within a fast-paced environment.
  • Creativity, innovation, and a love of experimentation.

  • Experience in digital marketing strategies.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making.
