About the position

This role is an exciting opportunity to develop and implement a robust commercial execution strategy for Immuno-Oncology (IO) indications. You will collaborate with key partners across various departments to develop strategy and execution plans. As a Marketing Director, you will lead the commercial marketing strategy and execution planning for IO indications. You will identify opportunities for recognizing efficiencies and synergies with other indications. Your role will involve cross-functional planning for customer engagement, evidence generation needs, sales readiness, and promotional execution. You will monitor indication performance, prepare updates for the brand team, and work closely with sales teams to ensure execution pull through. In this position, you will be responsible for driving the marketing strategy that aligns with AstraZeneca's mission to advance the Oncology space. You will be expected to exhibit high capability at working collaboratively and thinking strategically, ensuring that the marketing efforts are effective across various channels and target audiences, including healthcare professionals and consumers. Your experience in pharma marketing will be crucial as you navigate the complexities of the oncology market, ensuring that AstraZeneca remains a leader in this field. Responsibilities

  • Lead the commercial marketing strategy and execution planning for Immuno-Oncology (IO) indications.
  • Identify opportunities for recognizing efficiencies and synergies with other indications.
  • Engage in cross-functional planning for customer engagement, evidence generation needs, sales readiness, and promotional execution.
  • Monitor indication performance and prepare updates for the brand team.
  • Collaborate closely with sales teams to ensure execution pull through.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • 5 years of pharma in-line marketing experience in an ex-US or US market.
  • Proven market execution delivery with KPI movement.
  • Exhibit high capability at working collaboratively and thinking strategically.
  • Proven proficiency in marketing across channels and across HCP and Consumer audiences.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in US oncology marketing.
  • Customer facing Oncology experience.
  • Experience leading an Oncology marketing team.
