About the position

The Marketing Director for Industrial B2B at Nielsen-Massey Vanillas will lead the strategic direction for the Industrial B2B Channel, focusing on growth, brand awareness, and product portfolio expansion. This role requires a strategic doer with a proven track record in the B2B industry, capable of delivering results in a fast-paced environment. The position involves collaboration with a motivated cross-functional team and offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact.

Responsibilities

  • Develop & execute the strategy for the Industrial B2B Channel, defining customer categories, targets, and product lines to achieve financial objectives.
  • Direct the sales team on customer target expectations and business development KPIs.
  • Leverage data tools to turn insights into actionable solution narratives for brand content.
  • Develop buyer personas and journey mapping to inform campaign execution.
  • Lead the development, execution, and optimization of integrated marketing campaigns with agency and cross-functional partners.
  • Develop and present strategic category and customer solution narratives to key customers.
  • Attend customer meetings to gain insights for optimizing business solutions.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in developing new products and mapping the portfolio of solutions.
  • Develop data-centric business cases for new product development.
  • Lead the direction and execution of content that showcases solution narratives.
  • Manage the Industrial B2B channel marketing budget for effective spending.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive marketing & customer-facing experience in the B2B Ingredient Industry.
  • 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Experience developing and executing channel strategies, marketing campaigns, and new product development.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence cross-functionally in a global business environment.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent storytelling, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with extracting insights from databases such as Nielsen or IRI.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and developing P&Ls.
  • Highly motivated and energetic, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preference for managing in a collaborative, action-oriented culture.
  • MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
