The Director of Marketing will be responsible for the development of branding, digital, and eCommerce marketing strategies to build awareness and drive a profitable business strategy. This role also works closely with our Sales and Operations teams to ensure appropriate pricing strategies are in place and leads the team to ensure all marketing campaigns are created and executed in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will preferably have both the creative and managerial acumen to lead the team, versus leaning towards one or the other. Professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese is required, as the role will interact with the China team on a regular basis. In this position, the Marketing Director will lead the Marketing team to drive growth and profitability through key marketing processes and initiatives, including the development of the Company’s marketing plan across all channels, developing promotions, and positioning products. The Director will also develop the Company’s branding strategy, including identifying goals and brand guidelines, understanding the business landscape, and building guidelines on how the brand is to be presented. The role requires setting and achieving strategic goals related to advertising, campaign initiatives, and social media metrics. The Marketing Director will partner with the Vice President of Sales, Sales Directors, and Branch Managers to research product demand and coordinate marketing efforts to drive campaigns. Additionally, the Director will maximize the online reputation for the Company and individual locations, respond to reviews, implement SEO strategies, and maximize website performance. Attendance at trade shows and major events is also expected, providing support on product positioning. The Director will supervise the department, providing guidance and feedback to other marketing professionals, ensuring that the objectives and efforts of the marketing department are aligned with the organization’s objectives. Proper resource allocation amongst projects will be essential, prioritizing critical campaigns and building strategic partnerships while serving as the organization’s agent towards external parties.
