About the position

As the Marketing Director for WAHi Brands/Cheba Hut, you will lead and shape the marketing vision across multiple locations, focusing on driving sales, community engagement, and social media strategies. This role involves managing the marketing process, overseeing administrative functions, and ensuring alignment with brand standards and core values. You will work closely with shop leadership to execute marketing strategies and support new store openings, all while fostering a culture of excellence and accountability within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and support management teams on-site to drive sales and advertising.
  • Deliver marketing strategies that align with Cheba Hut brand standards and core values.
  • Drive in-shop top line sales through multiple revenue streams including dine-in, catering, and digital sales.
  • Establish and maintain local catering client relationships and ensure delivery execution.
  • Drive New Store Opening marketing to achieve above Average Unit Volume (AUV).
  • Increase Year-over-Year (YoY) sales through various advertising outlets.
  • Ensure marketing budgets are on track and within acceptable ranges.
  • Setup and execute local donation and charity events to engage the community.
  • Facilitate local and national partnerships through grassroots marketing and networking.
  • Create and execute shop-specific events to enhance community engagement.
  • Develop and execute marketing growth strategies via social media platforms.
  • Create engaging content for social media that attracts and retains customers.
  • Respond to social media comments and messages promptly, ensuring reputation management.
  • Lead, train, and hold management teams accountable for marketing processes and procedures.
  • Motivate and inspire a diverse team to engage in marketing efforts.
  • Identify talent and foster growth within the team.

Requirements

  • Excellent leadership and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel in-state and out-of-state as needed.
  • Superior knowledge of industry regulations and operational guidelines.
  • In-depth knowledge of data analysis software and social media platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Canva).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and people skills.
  • Ability to work well under physically and mentally stressful situations.
  • Responsible alcohol service training/certification and food safety/handling training/certification.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with customer relationship management programs.
  • Knowledge of current social media trends and best practices.
