About the position

As the Marketing Director at our professional services organization, you will be instrumental in driving various marketing initiatives that align with the company's culture and vision. Your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including conducting market research, creating pitch materials, preparing presentations, and responding to proposal requests. You will also manage content across multiple platforms, oversee communications, and coordinate events and sponsorships that promote the organization’s brand and values. In this hybrid work model, you will collaborate with different practice groups to understand the organization’s priorities and assist with client development projects. Your efforts will be crucial in enhancing the company’s visibility and engagement with potential clients. You will be expected to lead discussions in Marketing Committee meetings, prepare sophisticated pitches and RFP responses, and ensure that all marketing materials maintain a high standard of quality and consistency. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing the marketing budget, planning and implementing company events, and providing training related to events and sponsorships to the client development team. Your ability to provide insightful intelligence on potential clients and engagement strategies will be key to the success of the marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the company's logo and social media presence.
  • Create content, update the website, and draft employee biographies and press releases.
  • Prepare marketing budget templates, collate, and manage the marketing budget.
  • Plan and implement company events, sponsorships, conferences, webinars, client entertainment, and receptions.
  • Provide events/conference sponsorship-related training to the client development team.
  • Develop agendas for Marketing Committee meetings and lead discussions.
  • Prepare sophisticated pitches and RFP responses, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Work with the leadership team and staff to develop tools and processes for follow-through with new contacts.
  • Support company contact updates, targeted mailing lists, and client engagement activities.
  • Provide insightful intelligence on potential clients and engagement strategies.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a client service marketing environment, preferably with a professional organization like a CPA Firm, Law Firm, or Doctor's office.
  • BA/BS required; higher-level degree is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of graphic design principles; proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Vimeo, Canva, WordPress, Google Analytics, WP Engine, WP Rocket, and E-vite.
  • Experience using Orion billing software is a plus.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools and platforms.
  • Excellent written, presentation, and oral communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment and meet strict deadlines.
  • Research skills and the ability to turn data into useful deliverables for lawyers.
  • Ability to work independently.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a professional services organization such as a CPA Firm, Law Firm, or Doctor's office.
  • Proficiency in additional graphic design software or tools.
