About the position

As the Marketing Director for Junior Achievement of South Florida, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development and implementation of strategic marketing and communication initiatives aimed at enhancing brand visibility, driving revenue growth, and engaging stakeholders. This full-time position operates on a hybrid model, allowing for both in-office and remote work, and is based in Coconut Creek, FL. You will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and oversee a talented team while collaborating cross-functionally to achieve the organization's business objectives. Your responsibilities will include managing and providing leadership to both internal and external consultants, such as graphic designers and videographers. You will set clear objectives for your team, provide regular feedback, and foster professional development opportunities. It is essential to ensure that team goals align with the overall objectives of Junior Achievement. You will also be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing and communication strategies that align with the organization's mission and goals. In this role, you will oversee the development and maintenance of the brand identity, ensuring consistency across all channels and touchpoints. You will lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of integrated marketing campaigns designed to drive donor and stakeholder acquisition, engagement, and retention. Additionally, you will develop and oversee content creation initiatives, including new product launches, website content, social media posts, and email campaigns, to effectively engage target audiences. Your expertise in digital marketing will be crucial as you direct efforts in SEO, SEM, social media advertising, and email marketing to optimize reach and conversion rates. You will also be tasked with developing and maintaining relationships with media outlets and industry influencers to secure press coverage and enhance the organization's public image. Utilizing data-driven insights, you will monitor performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and optimize marketing efforts. Furthermore, you will manage the overall marketing and communication budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximize return on investment (ROI). Collaboration with internal teams, including events and development, will be key to aligning marketing initiatives with overall business objectives. Responsibilities

  • Manage and provide leadership to internal and external consultants (e.g., Graphic Designer, Photographer, and Videographer).
  • Set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, and foster professional development opportunities for direct reports.
  • Ensure alignment of team goals with overall company objectives.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and communication strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of brand identity, ensuring consistency across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of integrated marketing campaigns to drive donor/stakeholder acquisition, engagement, and retention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
  • 5-10 years of experience in marketing and communications.
  • 3-5 years in a leadership role is required.
  • Proven record of accomplishment in developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive revenue growth for existing and/or new product launches.
  • Strong leadership skills, able to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, able to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, analytics platforms, and other relevant software applications.
