About the position

The Marketing Director at EDUPRIZE Schools is responsible for leading the marketing and communications strategy to enhance the visibility and reputation of the school network. This role involves overseeing advertising campaigns, website management, social media strategies, and community engagement efforts to drive enrollment growth and foster stakeholder relationships. The ideal candidate will be a creative, data-driven professional with a strong background in digital marketing and branding within the education sector.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute multi-channel advertising campaigns (digital, print, radio, etc.) that effectively communicate EDUPRIZE Schools' mission and unique value to prospective families and the community.
  • Create and maintain a consistent brand image and voice across all marketing materials and communications, ensuring alignment with EDUPRIZE Schools' values and goals.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to optimize advertising efforts and ensure EDUPRIZE remains a preferred choice for education.
  • Oversee and continuously update the EDUPRIZE Schools' website, ensuring it is user-friendly, up-to-date, and optimized for both desktop and mobile experiences.
  • Manage website content, including program descriptions, event announcements, news articles, and other resources to engage current and prospective families.
  • Utilize SEO best practices to improve search rankings and drive organic traffic to the website.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn to engage the community and prospective families.
  • Create engaging and informative content, including visuals and videos, that highlight student achievements, school events, and academic programs.
  • Monitor social media engagement, respond to inquiries, and track metrics to refine social media strategies and enhance online presence.
  • Partner with the enrollment team to create targeted marketing strategies that attract and retain students, with a focus on key enrollment periods.
  • Develop lead generation campaigns to increase prospective student inquiries and applications.
  • Track and analyze enrollment trends and campaign performance, adjusting strategies to meet enrollment goals.
  • Cultivate relationships with community organizations, local businesses, and media outlets to expand EDUPRIZE's reach and visibility.
  • Represent EDUPRIZE Schools at community events and promote partnership opportunities that align with school values and strategic goals.
  • Develop and distribute newsletters, press releases, and other communications to keep families, stakeholders, and partners informed and engaged.
  • Use marketing analytics tools to monitor campaign performance and measure ROI across advertising, website, and social media channels.
  • Report on key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to improve future marketing strategies.
  • Maintain a database of marketing initiatives and track engagement levels to continuously refine strategies.
  • Manage public relations efforts, working closely with school leadership to communicate key messages, accomplishments, and updates to the public.
  • Develop and implement crisis communication plans in coordination with school leadership, ensuring timely and transparent communication with the community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within the education or nonprofit sectors.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, CRM software, Google Analytics, SEO, and content management systems (CMS).
  • Strong creative skills with experience in content creation, social media management, and brand storytelling.
  • Proven ability to use data to drive marketing strategy, track performance, and adjust tactics based on insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to stakeholders and representing EDUPRIZE Schools publicly.
  • A commitment to EDUPRIZE's mission and values and a passion for promoting quality education.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of enrollment marketing strategies and experience with lead generation tactics.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or other design software for content creation.
