The Director of Marketing is accountable for the strategic planning, development, and execution of all marketing initiatives for Formento's restaurants. This role collaborates closely with ownership and partners to ensure cohesive marketing strategies, communications, and advertising efforts. The Director supervises the creation and execution of marketing materials, updates to the website, social media management, and public relations efforts. In terms of communications, the Director will oversee all internal communications regarding new initiatives, project updates, and events. They will lead new initiatives and ensure effective collaboration among team members to achieve departmental deliverables. The Director will strive to maintain a polished and positive image in all external communications, including media outreach and partnerships. From a marketing perspective, the Director will establish the positioning of Formento's and its brands within local, regional, and national markets. They will continuously enhance the brand image through strategic relationships and messaging, ensuring consistent articulation of the brand's image and position in the marketplace. The Director will act as the primary representative for Formento's in media interactions, engage in offsite events and networking opportunities to promote the brand, and dine regularly at Formento's restaurants with key influencers and industry leaders to enhance visibility and revenue opportunities. Additionally, they will conduct competitive analysis to inform pricing strategies and design elements, develop targeted marketing strategies, create and manage social media content, and coordinate all branding elements and marketing materials with design teams. In the realm of public relations, the Director will craft narratives that align with PR objectives and enhance brand visibility, foster relationships with major media outlets, and support the PR team in achieving marketing success through effective storytelling. They will also evaluate the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, analyze costs, and monitor the advertising budget. The Director will oversee the management of company social media accounts, generate engaging content, and track market engagement metrics. Furthermore, they will capture and catalog all visual content related to the brand and collaborate with partners in the development of new restaurant concepts, ensuring project continuity through documentation of meetings with designers and stakeholders.
