About the position

The Marketing & Donor Relations Coordinator at The Arc of the Quad Cities Area is responsible for supporting the organization's mission to empower individuals with disabilities. This full-time role involves implementing marketing strategies, managing donor relations, and coordinating events to enhance community engagement and fundraising efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Support and advance the mission of The Arc of the Quad Cities Area.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Development Officer to implement marketing plans.
  • Oversee the production of marketing materials in line with brand guidelines.
  • Manage gift processing and acknowledgment procedures.
  • Maintain database systems for donor engagement and retention.
  • Generate reports to support fundraising initiatives.
  • Contribute to marketing strategies such as digital campaigns, social media, and email marketing.
  • Coordinate promotional materials, outreach efforts, logistics, and brand collateral for events.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in communication or a related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Supervisor experience preferred.
  • Professional presence required.
  • Public speaking experience preferred.
  • Valid and current driver's license and use of a personal vehicle with required insurance.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with others orally and in writing.
  • Marketing experience is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and Access.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in public speaking.
  • Experience in a supervisory role.
