About the position

The Marketing & Event Manager at Diligent Development is responsible for leading marketing initiatives and event planning for the Middlebrook Agrihood and Mercantile. This role emphasizes community engagement, social media management, and event execution to enhance growth and interest in the community.

Responsibilities

• Strategize, create, and monitor content for social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and TikTok.
• Capture photography and videography at events and projects to showcase the community.
• Maintain and update event pages on the Middlebrook-family websites and third-party event sites.
• Oversee planning and execution of Agrihood, Farm, Farmhouse, and Mercantile events, including vendor coordination and day-of logistics.
• Organize seasonal weekly events such as goat yoga and farm-to-table dinners, coordinating with musicians and food vendors.
• Plan and coordinate farm-to-fork dinners and other events, managing ticketing and logistics.
• Serve as the point of contact for venue rentals, ensuring all contracts and logistics are in order.
• Distribute newsletters and plan quarterly events for homeowners to foster community connections.
• Network with local businesses and maintain distribution of marketing materials.

Requirements

• Proven experience in marketing and event management.
• Strong understanding of social media management and digital marketing strategies.
• Proficiency in SEO, content marketing, and multichannel marketing.
• Familiarity with marketing automation tools.
• Experience in B2B marketing and performance marketing.
• Excellent copywriting and research skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience managing multiple social media accounts simultaneously for at least 2 years.
