About the position

The Marketing Event Manager at Window Depot USA of Eastern Iowa is responsible for supporting the Sales team in driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales through various marketing initiatives. This role involves managing marketing campaigns, creating content, coordinating events, and conducting market research to enhance the company's marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns across various channels, such as social media, email marketing, and events.
• Collaborate with the team to create engaging content for different platforms, including blog posts and promotional materials.
• Help manage the company's social media accounts, including scheduling posts and monitoring engagement.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to gather insights about target markets and customer preferences.
• Assist in planning and organizing events, home shows, conferences, or webinars.
• Help maintain and update marketing materials such as brochures and sales sheets.
• Support the management of customer relationship management (CRM) systems and databases.
• Collaborate with the team and maintain regular communication channels.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (preferred).
• 1 year of experience as an event coordinator or similar role.
• Proficient in Microsoft, Google Workspace, and other digital marketing tools.
• Some knowledge of advertising sales and email marketing strategies.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
