About the position

The Marketing Event Planner at Starin is responsible for leading the strategy and execution of various events, including tradeshows, on-site trainings, regional shows, and virtual events. This role is integral to the marketing team, focusing on creating a unified brand experience and managing event logistics while ensuring successful collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The position requires strong project management skills and the ability to optimize event performance through data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy and execution of events and event logistics including tradeshows, on-site trainings, regional shows, and virtual events.
  • Create a unified brand experience across all events including pre- and post-event communication to on-site experience.
  • Forecast and manage event budgets and timelines, communicating needs and status to key stakeholders proactively.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, sponsor partners, and marketing suppliers.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful event execution.
  • Manage event site selection including location, venue, and catering.
  • Set event KPIs and objectives and develop methods to measure, track, and report on ROI of events.
  • Use data to optimize event performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop, document, and implement standardized operating procedures for event planning and execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • 5+ years of direct experience in events management within the B2B industry
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Self-motivated and highly detailed
  • Experience in managing both on-site and virtual events
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel and manage events onsite within the US
  • Experience managing event-related vendors to produce successful events.
