About the position

The Marketing, Event & Social Media Coordinator at Goldfish Swim School is responsible for managing the school's social media presence, organizing events, and fostering community relationships. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about marketing and social media, and who enjoy working in a fun and dynamic environment that focuses on helping children achieve their swimming goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the quality and success of social media platforms and represent the school positively in the community.
• Build relationships with local groups, businesses, and event operators to foster beneficial partnerships.
• Use creativity to promote Goldfish - Milford and Goldfish - Bedford on social media, at events, and in the community.
• Manage the Marketing Tracking Spreadsheet and Budget.
• Create in-school signage and promotional materials.
• Engage the Bubbles mascot in community events for photo opportunities and public relations.
• Gain proficiency in iClassPro software for bookings, class scheduling, reporting, and administrative functions.
• Fulfill other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Employer.
• Train to teach swim lessons and work on the pool deck and front desk to understand the Goldfish experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1 year of experience in social media management or related field.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
• Exceptional grammar and communication skills.
• Familiarity with social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Instagram.
• Ability to work events, including nights and weekends, as a brand ambassador.
• Must pass background examinations.
