About the position

The Marketing Events Coordinator at Samsung Semiconductor Inc. plays a crucial role in supporting the Marketing Communications team by managing various aspects of event planning and execution. This position involves creative thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. The coordinator will assist in pre-event, on-site, and post-event logistics, ensuring that all events run smoothly and effectively, contributing to the company's innovative presence in the semiconductor industry.

Responsibilities

• Support the team on work back schedules, calendaring, catering, swag, and promo materials.
• Assist in pre-event, on-site, and post-event marketing plans and logistics from conception to completion, including A/V, set-up, quality control, shipping, logistics, and transportation.
• Support the development, management, and execution of assigned projects.
• Contribute to regular reporting of event status.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Content management skills (digital, custom applications, presentations).
• Ability to travel to event locations specific to assigned programs.
• Project management experience and strong communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and lead several projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel; Smartsheet experience preferred.
