About the position

The Marketing Events Coordinator is responsible for organizing and executing various small to mid-sized events, ensuring a high level of service for attorneys, clients, and business partners. This role involves managing logistics, collaborating with stakeholders, and utilizing event management platforms to deliver successful events that align with the firm's strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute events including invite creation, list management, venue sourcing, menu selection, and vendor management.
• Collaborate with attorneys, marketing managers, and business development teams to coordinate staff/client events such as dinners and receptions.
• Administer the CVENT platform, creating invitations, managing attendee lists, and generating reports.
• Order promotional items, speaker gifts, and marketing materials for events.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and industry professionals.
• Ensure events are delivered on time and within budget.
• Travel as needed for on-site event execution.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Liberal Arts, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in event planning required.
• Experience working with budgets and knowledge of CRM and CVENT preferred.
• Solid project management skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and some knowledge of event technologies.
