About the position

The Marketing Events Intern at Hexagon's Manufacturing Intelligence will play a crucial role in supporting trade shows and marketing events while engaging with stakeholders globally. This internship offers a comprehensive insight into the field of Metrology and the opportunity to contribute to the success of the company by managing event projects, ensuring customer satisfaction, and performing key administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Act as the marketing liaison between various global and local stakeholders within HMI as well as external customers to identify their needs and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Develop strong relationships with stakeholders through regular feedback, periodic reporting, and partnering to achieve goals and deadlines.
• Propose ideas to improve services provided and event quality.
• Accomplish organizational goals by accepting ownership of new and different requests.
• Edit marketing materials for accuracy, clarity, brevity, and logic.
• Create and maintain event planning documents and presentations.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and manage timelines to meet tight deadlines.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student majoring in business with a Marketing or other applicable concentration and in good academic standing.
• Leadership experience within campus organizations.
• High aptitude for creative problem solving.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Able to work from our North Kingstown, RI office without relocation.
• Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.
• Ability to work Monday- Friday, 40 hours per week during the summer break.
