About the position

The On-Call Events Team Member at Three Rivers Casino is responsible for supporting and assisting in various tasks related to events, banquets, and promotions. This role focuses on providing excellent guest service and ensuring smooth operations during events, including setup, service, and breakdown.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of guest service by greeting guests with a positive demeanor.
• Respond quickly and courteously to guest needs, questions, comments, or concerns.
• Process coupons and enter coupon codes during promotional events.
• Set up and break down various events and functions, including building stages and arranging seating.
• Set dining tables for multi-course service and buffet events.
• Serve food and beverages, ensuring quality presentation to guests.
• Provide bartending services during events and banquets if eligible.
• Assist with inventory tracking and sorting of linens, glassware, and cutlery.
• Welcome guests and provide special care to those with special requests.
• Monitor the audience during performances to maintain an undisturbed atmosphere.
• Act as an usher and aid guests in case of emergencies.
• Communicate property-wide promotions, events, and programs to other team members.

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement of 18 years old.
• Possess or obtain a Food Handlers Card/OLCC License within 30 days of employment.
• Valid driver's license and insurable by TRCR's insurance agency.
• Preferred experience in serving beverages and multi-course meals.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
• Comply with pre-employment, random, and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing.
• Receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission.
• Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in event serving and bartending is preferred.
