About the position

K2United is seeking a Marketing Generalist/Conference Coordinator to support various marketing functions, particularly focusing on managing conference-related activities and other marketing initiatives. This role is essential in bridging the gap between strategic planning and execution, ensuring that all events are organized efficiently and marketing materials are maintained. The ideal candidate will have a creative mindset, strong communication skills, and a passion for collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects related to conferences, speaking engagements, and promotional events including logistics, travel arrangements, booth registration, and materials shipment.
  • Assist in collateral development and campaign management by liaising with content and product design resources and external vendors.
  • Develop and propose strategies for customer engagement, community forums, and public relations to enhance market penetration and customer retention.
  • Manage operational and administrative tasks for the marketing department, including marketing research, invoice processing, vendor management, expense tracking, event budgets, and reporting compliance.

Requirements

  • Completed Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the marketing industry.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Salesforce, and social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube).
  • Reliable transportation and availability to travel into the office bi-weekly.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience coordinating the collection and analysis of customer feedback to inform marketing strategies.
  • Familiarity with inventory and purchasing of marketing collateral.
