About the position

The Marketing & Graphic Design Specialist at DSquared Hospitality is responsible for managing the company's online brand presence, including the website, email marketing, and social media profiles. This role involves graphic design, content creation, and collaboration with various teams to enhance marketing strategies and community engagement. The specialist will also assist in event management and employee communication, contributing to the overall mission of fostering human connection through memorable experiences.

Responsibilities

• Manage the company website, making frequent updates and improving SEO.
• Create marketing materials and digital designs in line with brand guidelines.
• Plan and report on monthly marketing meetings and budget organization.
• Assist with graphic design for branding materials and ad placements.
• Write and edit email marketing campaigns and blog posts.
• Submit events for publication in industry magazines and blogs.
• Nurture vendor partnerships through content features and marketing collaborations.
• Coordinate advertising inquiries and assist with marketing events.
• Write weekly employee newsletters and manage internal communication channels.
• Organize employee engagement initiatives and company events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, or Public Relations, or 2-3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in graphic design and content creation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Self-motivated with a passion for staying updated on industry trends.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the hospitality or culinary field.
• Knowledge of Caterease software is a plus.
• Basic Excel knowledge and ability to use Canva.
