About the position

The Marketing & Growth Programs Leader for Life Science Solutions at Trane Technologies is responsible for leading and executing the marketing strategy and annual marketing plan. This role involves designing innovative marketing initiatives, demand generation, brand strategy, and digital enablement across all business streams. The leader will collaborate with various teams to identify opportunities, evaluate industry trends, and develop strategies to enhance the company's position as an industry leader, ultimately driving sustainable growth and maximizing digital user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Create Life Science Solutions marketing plan and drive execution to ensure we present one face to our target customers with the appropriate products/offers
  • Maximize marketing enabled revenue through lead generation, nurturing, and high impact marketing programs
  • Develop and track marketing metrics / scorecards to measure return on investment, level of impact, budget balance across business lines, etc
  • Collaborate with sales leaders to ensure high quality sales enablement content and tools are created - with one ‘voice' of the team
  • Create and manage brand strategy to ensure one company to target customers - including business stream brands, relationship to Trane Technologies, and all standards/positioning/narratives
  • Collaborate with Product Management to develop and implement strategies to grow in priority segments and markets in conjunction with market insights/trends
  • Create content for multi-touchpoints of customers in target markets - includes marketing agency strategy for execution
  • Partner with Sales to manage leads generated, develop and ensure execution of online presence awareness and customer lead generation, ensure process for lead validation /hand-off and lead nurturing
  • Manage customer programs and promotions and review how we compare against our competitors
  • Ensure the delivery of the value proposition of the products to the customer which includes sales enablement input associated with the launching of products, channel programs or detail to customers for both new and ongoing product development
  • Develops the action plan and expected outcomes for thought leadership and external presence and helps develop market facing strategies and positioning
  • Collaborates with Product/Service Growth Teams to provide subject matter expertise to feed that growth, drive a consistent strategy, focus on key strategic initiatives, fuel relevant new product development, and support business growth activities
  • Analyzes macro and micro economic factors, strategic benchmarking, current/future portfolio review, and competitive position analyses
  • Stays abreast of the best organizations to partner with for innovation, offer-set and go-to-market approach partnerships
  • Partners closely with the corporate innovation team to explore, evaluate and manage potential growth partnerships for Life Science Solutions
  • Provide leadership, talent development and coaching to a team of marketing professionals.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience focused around growth strategy and innovation, product management or marketing in a global environment, a track record of success in relevant industrial markets is strongly preferred
  • Strong marketing capability with particular expertise in lead generation, brand strategy, and digital marketing for a complex, global business. Experience in Life Sciences highly preferred
  • Strong overall business acumen, solid financial grounding and a clear understanding of how our business operates. Excellent judgment and analytical ability to make bold decisions and to resolve complex issues
  • Experience managing people and/or influencing cross-functional teams
  • Compelling written and verbal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to interact and influence senior leaders in an organization
  • Passion for excellence in people, process, and products
  • Risk-taker who challenges conventional solutions, thinks creatively and strategically with a bias toward execution
  • Exceptional people and communication skills, creativity and team leadership
  • Knowledge of brand and marketing strategy in a complex business environment
  • A track record of delivering outstanding tangible results in a high performance environment
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA is valued
  • Life Science, Biopharma or Healthcare marketing experience preferred
