About the position

This internship position at Thermo Fisher Scientific offers undergraduate students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of business and marketing, including strategic marketing, digital marketing, planning, marketing analytics, data management, social media strategy, and content development. Interns will work on significant projects that contribute to the company's goals while receiving mentorship and leadership development to support their future career growth.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leadership to identify and address areas to improve efficiency and benchmark with industry best practices.
  • Critically review specific processes and proactively recommend opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop automated data loads and schedules to ensure timeliness of information.
  • Learn continuous improvement methodologies and help promote improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain PowerBI and provide reporting support for the system and users.
  • Establish measurements and targets based on historic and forecasted data to develop marketing plans, roadmaps, and tactical elements.
  • Manage projects effectively adhering to established timelines.
  • Provide reporting, analysis, research, and strategy support for digital marketing programs.
  • Help improve return on investment of social media and blog programs.
  • Assist in digital content curation and execution.
  • Support email marketing programs and analytics.
  • Collaborate with global marketing teams and regional teams.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate student completing a Business Management, Business Marketing, Communications, or related major between December 2025 and June 2026.
  • 0 years of work experience required; previous related internships preferred.
  • Proven track record of results demonstrating integrity, innovation, involvement, and intensity.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as PPI and Six Sigma.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and analytics.
