About the position

The Marketing Intern position at Hubbell Power Systems is a 10 to 12-week summer internship designed for students to gain corporate experience and learn about various aspects of the business. Interns will work on value-added projects, develop technical skills, and present their work to local management at the end of the program. This role provides an opportunity to apply classroom knowledge in a professional environment while managing multiple projects and assisting with process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Apply skills and knowledge learned in the classroom to on-the-job experiences.
• Work on comprehensive, value-added projects.
• Collaborate in teams and with colleagues in a professional environment.
• Develop technical skills specific to the major.
• Build relationships and learn about other parts of the business for professional development.
• Provide a presentation to the local management team at the end of the program.
• Gain knowledge of the industry as it pertains to the Hubbell business location.
• Gain experience in planning and organizational skills.
• Work on challenging robust projects that provide practical experience.
• Assist with process improvement.
• Manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Provide support and assistance to co-workers as appropriate.

Requirements

• Enrollment in an accredited university working towards a Bachelor's or Master's Degree related to the internship (required).
• Minimum 3.0 GPA (required).
• Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred.
• Familiarity with relevant software and systems.

Benefits

• Compensation range of $22.50/hour - $29.00/hour (dependent upon graduation date).
