About the position

The Marketing Intern at ITW Specialty Films will support the Global Product Manager in developing and implementing product line strategies and tactics. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product management, market analysis, and strategic marketing within a dynamic and collaborative environment. The intern will engage in various projects aimed at enhancing product development and marketing effectiveness, while also gaining insights into the operations of a global manufacturing company.

Responsibilities

• Support Global Product Manager with new product development from concept generation to execution.
• Monitor and analyze competitive activity, customer, and market trends.
• Provide actionable insights to guide the marketing and/or sales teams.
• Contribute to the development of sales and marketing plans and objectives.
• Forecast demand, revenue, and expenses.
• Determine sales potential and make recommendations.
• Assist in highly visible projects with direct impact to current processes and procedures to be used long-term.
• Collaborate with account managers to analyze and provide recommendations on customer data.
• Effectively collect and synthesize market insights.
• Lead and communicate strategic competitive analysis and marketing assessment.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety directions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Rising senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to make logical and sound decisions and know when to act independently and when to seek assistance.
• Actively identify new areas for learning and apply newly gained knowledge/skill on the job.
• Driven to succeed and willing to go the extra mile.
