Marketing Intern

About the position

As a Marketing Intern at Silvi Materials, you will gain hands-on experience in the construction materials industry, focusing on marketing strategies and content creation. This 10-12 week internship will allow you to work closely with experienced marketing professionals, engaging in various tasks such as social media management, content development, and market research. The role aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the marketing department's functions within the industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Marketing team in creating engaging content including writing copy, brainstorming ideas, editing videos, and shooting content.
• Actively suggest evergreen content ideas to maintain audience engagement and drive traffic.
• Post engaging content for digital platforms, including social media, blogs, and the website.
• Help manage social media channels, analyze engagement data, and devise strategies to enhance online presence.
• Assist in executing marketing campaigns and promotional events.
• Conduct market research to identify trends in baseball and sports marketing.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), Canva, and other relevant design software.
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and branding.
• Knowledge of branding principles to maintain consistency with organizational and external guidelines.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and tools for managing content and reporting analytics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to tailor content to both internal and external audiences.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and work independently.
• Valid Driver's License.
