Marketing Intern

About the position

Lawn Doctor of Rocky Mount – Wendell - Louisburg is looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Intern to join our growing team. No previous Marketing experience is required, but a can-do attitude, working knowledge of social media and a willingness to learn are musts.

Responsibilities

• Generate brand awareness and customer impressions through a variety of local marketing tactics.
• Engage in guerilla marketing tactics such as door hanging, posting lawn signs, parking the van, and park-and-wave events.
• Manage the local Lawn Doctor Facebook page, generating creative and engaging content.
• Interact with followers on social media, keeping the page relevant by frequently publishing content and responding to comments.
• Research local home and garden shows and other community events to build brand awareness and generate leads.
• Hand out promotional items and marketing materials at events, and engage with prospective customers.
• Attend and participate in weekly marketing meetings hosted by Lawn Doctor corporate.

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• No Marketing experience required; training will be provided.
• Must have a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and a go-getter attitude.
